Our water was not poisoned

You may remember this post...

It was funny, right?

Right.  Nonetheless, moments after I published that post, I began to seriously wonder who the email came from.

You see, my Netflix password and my Gmail password are the same, and quite a few people know my Netflix password. I've also had the same password for a seriously good amount of years, and, as there is really nothing in my email that could be classified as secret, I'm not too hesitant to give the password out if it would make life easier.

So I had it narrowed down to a few people, but I kinda wanted to see if I could figure it out without confronting anyone. So I turned into Chloe from 24.

I looked up the last ten IP addresses that my mail had been accessed from. Half were from my home and some were from my phone, but one was different. I did a little bit of research and found that it came from BYU campus.

That narrowed it down to two friends: one who was in school, the other who works there.

My search was put to an end there as I got a text from one of my suspects saying ":)" which, obviously, was just as good as a confession. Trust me, if you knew her, you'd understand.

Anyway, I complimented her on her brilliance, re-watched the clip from The Office, and even changed my password.

I really didn't think any more of it, but apparently the rest of the world did.

Since the time of the original post, I have had about a dozen people voice their concern over this. Apparently the rest of the world finds it more creepy than I do?

Have no fear, my friends. It was just a funny joke :)

Confession: I am going to schedule this to be posted sometime tomorrow because I don't want to have four posts in one day. Admitting this to you probably defeats the purpose...
