You can call me guru

Remember when I hinted toward an upcoming post?

Ok, so I know that hint came like 20 minutes ago, but what better way to put off a paper than double blogging?

Well folks, sit in anticipation no longer.

I've noticed a recent fad going around: fashion blogging.

And I figured, "hey, I'm fashionable, I have a blog, why not join in?"

I thought it would be fitting (pun completely intended) to talk about the fashion fads here in the holy land.

To start, let's talk about the ambiance.

Real stores? Real clothes? No thank you!
We are partial to things more along the lines of this.
Once you have found a nice rack of clothing in the old city, there is really nothing to it. Just start grabbing things at random and putting them together regardless of size, color, or coordination.

Shirt: Target, $10
Jeans: Down East, $35
Purse: Luxor, $6
Scarf: Old City, free
Jacket: Old City, 55sh

The jacket is actually reversible (brown) and when it gets toasty outside, it can be worn around the waist, an age-old look.
When you feel like getting in touch with the locals, there are few better ways to do so than the following:
Pants: Shuuk: 20 sh
Scarf: Luxor: $2
Not sure where to put your most prized possessions? Just grab your fanny pack. And don't forget your lime green water carrier!
Fanny and Water carrier: Both included in price of study abroad

Looking for the perfect mix of style, suave, and attraction all in one pair of sweat pants? Look no further.
Pants: West J. 50 sh.

Don't worry friends, when I come home I will definitely be sporting a smorgasbord of clothing items. Please have patience as I come back to terms with fashion reality.
