There is currently a large, ugly, unwelcome wasp in my room.

"so, um, kill it Sade"

I know that's what your thinking, and believe me, I've tried.

It has been in here for the past two days, just about as long as I've been moved home. (don't even get me started on the oddness of this, it will require its own post) However, yesterday was spent moving things into my room so as long as the wasp kept its post at the window I didn't mind the company.

But today the wasp had different things in mind. My negligence to show it it's place yesterday gave it the idea that today it could curl up and make itself at home on my bed.

Not okay.

I got Elizabeth to help me terminate it. Being female, we decided to get the bug spray and have a go at it. But as it was on my bed we had second thoughts about spraying the stuff.

Luckily Brad was nearby and volunteered to do it the manly way - with a vacuum

So I went to the garage and got the portable vacuum and came back in and made sure the wasp was still in place. It was. I bent down to plug the assassination machine in and when I stood back up - gone. The wasp was gone.

Lemme tell you that this wasp has some freaky speedy flying abilities because it was not out of sight for more than seven seconds tops.

So I guess this is the start of a new friendship. Because, hey, if I can't kill it, why not befriend it?
