What's in a purse?

Recently a good friend of mine asked the following question: What makes a purse ugly?

At first, I wasn't sure exactly what the answer was. However, after much thought and consideration, I have compiled a list of things that make a purse ugly.



First, the color. Actually, just the fabric in general. Second, tassels? All you need is some turquoise beading and you're good to go!!



I do have to give the designer props for finding a way to add many pockets, but really?



I think the unidentifiable fluff says it all.



There are situations when animal impersonation is not a bad thing.
Ie) slippers, Halloween costumes, etc. However, a purse is just not one of them.



Clear=bad. No one wants to know everything you carry around.



Puce green tassels are a no go in pretty much every situation...


There are a few more things that make a purse ugly, too many colors, clashing colors, something too boring, but I think this sums it up.

Maybe one of these first days I'll make a list of what makes a purse cute. However, as anyone who is using my schedule to stalk me knows, right now I'm headed off to work :)
