Fact. Kneaders has better hot chocolate than Einsteins and Starbucks, but Einsteins has far superior bread, and Starbucks has the best cinnamon/vanilla.
Obviously, this is a problem. Whats a girl to do? Do I go with the bread, the quality, or the tasty additions? I wish I could stop in Einsteins to get a toasted bagel, go to Kneaders to get a cup of hot chocolate, then stop by Starbucks and have them stick the flavors in. However, there are a few minor flaws in this plan, the most prevalent being that Einsteins is south of University Pkwy, Starbucks is north, and Kneaders is like a lifetime away over past 1600 north.
But have no fear, I have come to a semi-perfect solution. Every other Thursday morning after piano, I will continue to stop by Einsteins for the lesser-quality cinnamon/vanilla-free hot chocolate, and delicious toasted bagel. When Dan comes home, I will simply have him pick me up delicious Starbucks hot chocolate whenever he goes. And, on the occasion that I find myself at home craving hot chocolate, not unlike tonight, I will drive over to Kneaders.
Anyway, on to much more important issues.
This spring break is not a good spring break. It's Rachel and Elizabeth's finals week, Becca went to Cancun...'nuf said. But do not worry, I have plenty to keep me occupado. My mother has named this week official spring cleaning week, and I have two weeks of writing to get ahead on. I also have my senior recital to practice for, and a few shifts at work. Nothing too bad, but in order to ensure that I get it all done, I decided to make myself a schedule.
I know, I know. Anyone who knows me at all just had to read that last line a few times. 'Sadie? A schedule?' But it is true. As uncharacteristic as it may be, I have made a weekly schedule, and planned it out by the hour.
I am so proud of my preparedness, that I am going to share it with you.
Anyone who has ever wanted to stalk me, now is the chance.
Well anyway, this is boring and lame on so many levels, so I'm going to go try to find some other pass-time.

ReplyDeletehaha!! I LOVE this post!!! It makes me happy... :D
ReplyDeleteI could totally stalk you now... ;) (not that I have a car or free-time or really a desire to watch you sit at the computer and write... but I could!)
ReplyDeleteHaha! Good luck with it! :)
A schedule? Yeah right. I give you three days before you get distracted by something online and spend two hours with it and then get frustrated that you're not following your schedule and decide it was all a bad idea to start with and who needs a schedule anyway I'm just going to eat a bagel and play with photoshop for the rest of the day.
ReplyDeleteAnd then of course you'll finish everything anyway and get straight A's and win all the contests, because that's just how you do things.
