Because today I woke up at approximately 7a.m. and went to the gym. And then proceeded to go to work for, ya know, like 9 hours.
But, sometime between my shower and the time I left my apartment for work, Jennie became my mother.
She cooked me chicken and potatoes and even poured my milk and handed it to me. The whole thing was so motherly I didn't even know how to handle it.
Work did not start out good though. Work started out with rain and an angry Chris and madly ringing phones and freezing air that barged in the front door every time it was opened and overtook my body and made me shake from hypothermia.
But somehow it was all ok, because I was provided with a large red coat and a brand new headset, which means it hasn't already spent hours bonding with someone else's ear, which means it is much more sanitary than average.
And I was even able to outsmart our new security cameras and find a way to photograph the wonderful red coat, and the brand new headset which actually cannot be seen. |
When I came home my life was good because my mother had brought over brownies.
And then I shared this moment with Sarah:
Closely followed by a conversation about how Hamlet should have been about a pig. Which would have been more clever, if a one William Shakespeare doesn't mind me saying...
And, um, we shared this moment...
Naturally, our roommate came in to ask if we were dying.
And just to finish it off, I'll leave you with this quote: "Oh, you look really cute! How recent was that?"
Could you please leave subtitles on the video cause I can't hear and they sound really funy! But I am glad you had a fun day! And how come mom never brought me brownies when I was at BYU?
ReplyDeleteI love the videos. Make more, it's the next best thing to being home!
