I can most usually be found sitting at the computer. Not that I am wasting my life away trying to beat the all-time high score on a popular video game, although that would probably be fitting, being the non-graduating senior that I am. No, the computer is where my writing class is, ergo, my computer is where I am. Yes. I just used the word ergo. Please say I get cool points for that?!? Anyway, every once in a while, as I am sitting at the computer desk, I hear a car door slam in the street. This excites me. Simple minds, simple pleasures. You see, every time this happens I hope that whoever slammed their car door is parked outside of my house, and even possibly coming to see me. I am not sure who would randomly stop by my house to see me, but that is what is so exciting. What is better than a surprise visit? Whenever (I just forgot how to spell the word 'when'...let's not talk about it) such a car door slamming happens, I sit for a moment, feeling excited despite myself, then slowly lift a corner of the mini-blinds, and the excited feeling is quickly replaced with disappointment as I look out at the empty street. It is sad.
In other news, I am going to take a minute to complain. I HATE THE FACEBOOK SUGGESTIONS!!!! I mean really, whose idea was it to put them in the top right hand corner?? Why not use that space for something useful, like the list of birthdays?? If I want to become a fan of sponge bob, I will go search for sponge bob. I do not care how many of my friends have become a fan of sponge bob, this does not change my feelings for him. That is all.
"Roll out the unwelcome mat for weeds"
Does someone want to explain this one to me? Is the mat unwelcome, or are the weeds unwelcome? If it's the mat that is unwelcome, I think Lowes should put some serious consideration into hiring a new product-namer. If it is indeed the weeds that are unwelcome, i think Lowes should put some serious consideration into grammar lessons.
Watch This.
That is all that I have to say, I will bore you no longer.
You bored Sade? I love reading your posts.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to think that I might just hate facebook.
ReplyDeleteThat was really cool! I usually hate watching street dancers. They're like 8 clones popping to some random song.
ReplyDeleteThat was alot of fun!
Thanks, Sadie!
yes, you get cool points for using the word "ergo." It would be even cooler if you could use "systemic anomaly." :) Anyone know the reference?
ReplyDeleteLOL! :) Literally... Maybe its just that's its the early morning and I haven't woken up all the way yet...
